As a Producer in the SEGA of Europe (SOE) Production team, your primary objective will be to support our products and our Pillar Studios through all phases of development, from concept to launch and beyond. You will collaborate closely with a variety of internal teams at our pillar studios and SOE to guide projects through full lifecycle and to ensure that we deliver quality products to our consumers on time and on budget. Our Production team is part of our wider Publishing group who are a highly skilled, engaged, and diverse group of approximately 190+ people spanning Technology, Sales, Marketing, Finance, QA, and more, servicing our development studios and leading the SOE Publishing services.

SEGA’s Live Operations Monitoring Team are looking for a bright, motivated, energetic person to join the team.

  • You will help us support Live games as a services, online services, corporate infrastructure, and security.

  • The successful candidate will need to be comfortable with shift patterns including night shifts and bank holidays, so you’ll need flexibility with your working hours and a can-do attitude along with best effort is essential and is mainly working from home with a few days onsite based at our HQ in Brentford, the team offers 24/7 support 365 days a year to the business and our customers.

  • The role encompasses working alongside infrastructure, Networking, Web Development and Security teams, thus ensuring you get the best career opportunities available for you along with a detailed training plan and funding to assist your career objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • We monitor SEGA’s infrastructure, network performance management, security, incident management, online activity and most importantly game performance.

  • We use various tools for real-time monitoring, log analysis along with live tracking systems, live ticketing systems, data visualization via dashboards.

  • Internal & external security auditing including threat and vulnerability management.

  • Environmental monitoring for server rooms, data centres and onsite control access for 3rd party vendors.

  • Attends group meetings and general staff meetings.

  • Preparation of weekly status reports and follow-up emails as necessary.

  • Creating procedural documents/guidebooks as necessary.

  • Flexibility to work additional hours as necessary, overtime is available.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

  • Comfortable working with Microsoft Windows, Office and Teams, Apple Mac/iOS.

  • Any knowledge of Atlassian, Jira, Confluence or Workflow management will help but is not essential, full training we be provided.

  • You must be able to provide clear, concise, and constant communication both written and verbally in emails, phone calls and ticketing systems.

  • Adaptability and willingness to improve processes, proactively help and assist colleagues and maintain a ‘can do’ attitude when under pressure.
