As a Junior Market Analyst, you will play a key role in using sales figures and market data to inform sales projections and support the company portfolio management.

You will collaborate with relevant stakeholders (Business Planning, Game Studios, Commercial group and Marketing teams) to maximise our sales forecast accuracy by using external and internal data streams.

You will also support the team with other analytical and reporting functions when / if required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collate and analyse relevant market and sales data for input into forecasts.

  • Help in the development of strategic forecasts’ creation and review processes.

  • Be a key member of strategic forecasting meetings with game studios and the product planning group. Present and discuss forecast methodologies and findings with relevant stakeholders.

  • Support with quarterly or annual market trends reports on various topics like market performance, publisher performance, game genres, new studios, events, etc.

  • Support the preparation of internal and external go-to market presentations.

  • Support if needed with the team weekly updates and reporting of market new developments.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Essential

  • Knowledge and interest in the video games industry / interest in the latest industry developments (F2P, digital, PC, console, mobile, subscription, GaaS etc.).

  • Strong proficiency at MS Excel (PivotTables, Vlookups and graphs).

  • Proven experience in forecasting and data analysis.

  • Very high attention to detail and data input accuracy skills.

  • Experienced in the use of the MS Office (mainly PowerPoint).

  • Excellent communication skills, and the ability to build effective relationships both internally and externally.

  • You’re a starter-finisher… you like to see projects through to the end and take ownership.

  • Proactive with very good organisational skills.

  • Adaptability, willingness to learn and ability to multi-task and prioritise.

Desirable

  • Database end user level experience, including querying with SQL.

  • Knowledge of programming language (Excel VBA, Python).

  • Tableau, PowerBI or other data manipulation/visualisation software skills.

  • Ability to lead discussions with stakeholders at all levels.
