You will be a trusted leader to our Human Resources team, responsible for all people related matters across our rapid-growth organisation. This unique role presents the opportunity to partner our co-founders in shaping our HR Policies, Strategy, and the Organisation Structure. As the custodian for Secretlab’s culture, you will spearhead employee engagement initiatives and be an evangelist of the organization’s core values. Lastly, you will manage and develop the HR Operations and Talent teams, while continuing to scale the department across the full spectrum of HR to meet the organization’s needs.

Our HR team is essential in ensuring that Secretlab’s human assets are primed to continue delivering at a world-class level on all our initiatives; including collaborative efforts with world-renowned brands such as Game of Thrones, Batman, Cloud9, Team Secret, as well as international esports organisers such as Riot Games for their League of Legends global tournaments.

Your key responsibilities (but not limited to):

  • Be principally responsible for all people related matters within the organisation
  • Adopt an innovative and effective approach to HR strategy that's tailored for Secretlab
  • Review and fortify the organization’s HR policies and strategy
  • Partner key business leaders, providing advisory on current and strategic HR matters
  • Work with the HR team and other relevant stakeholders in navigating complex circumstances, grievances, disputes, or any other organisational issues
  • Be a custodian to the Secretlab culture, driving all relevant initiatives (employee engagement, employer branding, change management, internal communications, etc.)
  • Be hands-on for HR Operations/Talent Acquisition should the time call for it

Requirements:

  • Experience as a HR Leader in a progressive and forward thinking organisation
  • You should have at least 6-10 years’ relevant experience, including at least 2 years as a trusted leader for your team
  • Highly innovative self-starter with a significant portfolio of HR initiatives - How has your leadership led to the growth of your organisation’s talents?
  • Excellent knowledge and application of HR policies and government regulations
  • Experience across the full spectrum of HR is highly advantageous
  • People person with strong experience navigating an organisation through a variety of complex people matters
