Sealost Interactive LLC, the studio behind The Thrill of the Fight, is looking for a talented engineer with strong industry experience to lead development for a breakout indie game franchise.

Our ideal candidate is passionate about and genuinely interested in their craft and has strong math, abstract thinking, and problem-solving skills.

This position is remote and applicants will be considered anywhere within the United States. Escape the crunch of the big studios and come work with a small, tight-knit team in a low pressure, relaxed atmosphere!

What You'll Work On

  • Establish technical pipelines and standards for the company
  • Research and develop advanced physics, inverse kinematics, networking systems, rendering pipelines, and other highly technical solutions
  • Work closely with the art team to maximize visual impact relative to performance cost

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Has an deep understanding of and passion for programming
  • Is comfortable with complex problem solving
  • Is experienced with physics, rendering, and networking
  • Has a strong mathematical background
  • Is a forward-thinking, can-do person, with the ability to self-manage to a high level of success

Bonus Skills

  • Experience working with VR
  • Previous experience developing multiplayer games
  • Experience in a lead role or managing teams of engineers
