We are looking for a detail-oriented Unity UI Artist with proven skills in creating and editing prefabs. Working closely with Art and Engineering, you will be responsible for implementing UI art assets in Unity, ensuring original mockups from UI artists are perfectly replicated. Through regular game testing and interpersonal communication, you will ensure all UI visuals look and behave according to design specifications. Reporting to the Director of Art, your skilled artistic and technical eye will help drive our product to a successful launch. Here's what you will be doing:

  • Work closely with the Art, UI and Programming departments to effectively implement UI visuals in Unity
  • Create and edit prefabs in Unity that perfectly replicate UI layouts and mock-ups
  • Ensure UI assets are optimized while balancing artistic and gameplay intentions against project constraints
  • Daily play game builds, performing frequent self-quality analysis on technical and visual setup of UI assets
  • Support development efforts with cross-team recommendations to ensure consistency of technical execution and visuals in line with the Art and UI/UX Director's goals
  • Write and maintain documentation to support one’s own developments, as well as other project-wide UI implementations and pipelines
  • Keep up with best practices on the latest next-gen industry standards

To do this job, you will need:

  • High level of proficiency with Unity, Adobe Creative Suite, Perforce
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience as a game artist or technical artist
