Scopely is looking for an industry expert and product visionary for an exciting unannounced title. This individual will be aware of game KPIs and possess a deep understanding of the systems and mechanics that move metrics. If you are passionate about figuring out how to increase engagement, monetization and virality of f2p games, we would love to hear from you.

In this role, the Sr. Product Manager will contribute to and execute the game vision. As a product leader, this person will work closely with embedded Analysts, PMs, Game Designers, UI/UX Designers, and Live Ops Managers to create outstanding game experiences that optimize franchise retention and monetization metrics.

Prioritize a roadmap with parallel, often competing KPI impacting deliverables. Work with your leadership team to hit aggressive targets to improve the lifetime value of the player base.
  • Work with performance PMs and Analysts to identify problems with existing systems and understand behavioural drivers of the metrics we are trying to improve. Come up with hypotheses and strategic solutions based on a deep understanding of the nature of the problem sets and behavioural drivers.
  • Define success metrics, build forecast models, and evaluate feature or launch performance.
  • Conduct competitive market research to identify future opportunities and feature best practices.
  • Work with game designers, UX designers, artists and developers to deliver new features against set vision & strategy. See feature development through from concept to launch, from post-launch analysis to ongoing optimization.
  • Own ongoing product wide-initiatives and projects based on product team needs
  • Help identify inefficiencies and provide long term solutions in our feature development and live operation processes & tooling to further drive operational excellence.

What you will need:

  • Must be excited about working on F2P mobile games, have the aptitude and ability to manage a very complex ecosystem with players in different life cycle phases and spend propensities.

    • Communication: strong verbal & written communication skills. Able to articulate the “why” instead of just the “how” and “what” to drive team-wide alignment on the product vision.
    • Project Management: able to deploy resources against highest impact initiatives, understand tradeoffs, anticipate & mitigate risks from afar, manage people's expectations & maintain a high quality of deliverables.
    • Design: Able to create & design experiences that shape positive player behaviours.
    • Quantitative Capability: intermediate business statistics knowledge, know when to use and not to use data, able to translate product problems into analytics problems, set expectations, develop and test hypotheses, interpret data in a meaningful and actionable way, and manipulate and visualize data in excel (SQL is a plus).
    • Leadership: Engage and inspire team members to deliver the best quality product possible.
  • Others:
    • High intellectual horsepower
    • Critical, analytical, and creative thinker
    • Strong in execution and outcome-driven
