We are looking for a Product Manager - Lifecycle who will be responsible for executing a product-centered strategy that will drive sustainable active player growth year-over-year. You will own acquisition, engagement, retention, and monetization of the player base through targeted and tailored campaigns including but not limited to push notifications, inbox messages, interstitials, and email marketing campaigns. This role will also serve as a critical conduit between the Live Operations of the game and the Marketing team working cross-functionally to align on overall funnel goals.

The ideal candidate has high analytical drive and loves to learn new things via a data-driven approach to optimization. They can effectively utilize new and existing tools and processes, while always looking for new ways to improve and build upon past successes.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Leverage data and a deep understanding of the game to develop new messaging strategies and continually optimize campaign performance working in close collaboration with the development team to directly impact product KPIs
  • Create and deliver split testing for email, push notifications, and interstitials
  • Own end-to-end email messaging strategy with the ability to effectively evaluate segmentation, campaign performance, and content design
  • Partner with cross-functional marketing and game teams to develop and deploy effective marketing campaigns in a timely manner while setting measurable campaign goals
  • Strategically address target segments and player data to create effective communications with personalized copy and creative
  • Analyze and report on email and push campaign success by evaluating KPIs, including Marketing KPIs (click-through rates, open rates, unsubscribe rates, etc.) and Product KPIs (lapse rates, conversion, etc.)
  • Provide requirements/specifications to technical teams to construct more compelling and dynamic messaging and the tools that facilitate them

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • A BA/BS required
  • 3+ years of marketing experience, with at least 1 year of push and email marketing expertise in a gaming or mobile company
  • Previous success in managing high volume, database driven push and email programs, including development, execution, and analysis
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to extract data to inform future campaigns
  • Exceptional computer skills, including experience with HTML and Excel
  • Experience with 3rd party Push & ESP platforms (e.g., Braze, Mailchimp, etc.)
