We are looking for a Scala/Java developer to join our team of senior developers.

Come work with us on predicting the results of esports matches. We can monetize it as both an odds provider for bookmakers and a market maker on betting platforms.

You are getting an opportunity to become a part of a leading esports trading company and co-create a greenfield low-latency platform for a Silicon Valley customer, build a bleeding edge tech product from scratch, as well as acquiring direct interaction with the esports business.

We need you if you have the following skills and experience:

• At least 3 years experience with core Scala/Java backend development
• Deep understanding of programming principles (single responsibility, type- and resource- safety, invariants) and best practices
• Ability to formulate your ideas in a self-documenting code
• Experience with or interest in functional programming
• Experience with concurrent programming (Akka), messaging (Apache Kafka), cloud environment (AWS), Docker
• Working in a team environment and being able to share knowledge and support other team members

What you’ll be doing:

• Developing reliable, low-latency and scalable backend applications
• Exploring the design space and discussing the best solution with your colleagues
• Implementing the infrastructure for odds-computation, and market-making for sports betting platforms
• Deploying and monitoring our services running on AWS
• Providing code review to other developers in your team in return for receiving code review for your own code
