Rooster Teeth Post Production is looking for an audio producer to manage resources, budgets, and projects for our award-winning audio department. For years this audio team has been operating separately under Live Action and Animation teams, and we are now uniting our resources to form one independent department that will be a shared service supporting Rooster Teeth Animation, Rooster Teeth Studios, Let’s Play groups, and 3rd party productions. We are looking for a leader to establish protocols, communication workflows, and allow for better resource management, while also being the liaison to producers, directors, and department heads across Rooster Teeth.

*In this climate of constant change, candidates must be able to work and telecommunicate from home, as well as be able to work onsite if/when that becomes an option.*

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the direct manager for Audio team members
  • Management and communication of audio budgets, schedules, and resources both within the department, and to producers/ head of post-production
  • Project and asset management; including participation and communication on behalf of the audio department in partnership with Audio LeadsParticipate in review sessions by taking notes and managing scope
  • Act as a Hiring manager; including participating in research, outreach, interviews, and hiring, as well as management of the intern program for audio
  • Act as a vendor liaison; negotiating, executing, and maintaining relationships with partner agencies and freelancers
  • Manage Audio Requests in support of all Rooster Teeth and Warner Media Departments in partnership with Head of Post or other production leads
  • Determine and implement department strategy, workflows, efficiencies and communication pipelines in order to support multiple, ongoing and overlapping projects across departments
  • Responsible for asset management through archival

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of professional experience as an Audio Producer
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Attention to detail
  • Must understand the production pipeline and workflow as it pertains to audio, production, and post production
  • Success with budgeting, scheduling, resource management and execution
  • Strong problem solving and prioritization skills
  • Experience with Shotgun, Airtable, (and/ or similar production tracking software) is preferred
  • Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro and Avid Pro Tools also a plus
  • Previous time and people management experience
