Riot Games is seeking a highly-organized individual who balances technical acumen and stellar communication skills to lead a team of passionate, highly-skilled developers in our Central Player Dynamics Initiative. This role connects with key business functions, each of our games, and all of our players - requiring a leader who knows how to keep the big picture in focus while still being able to dive into the complex product challenges that we face daily.
As a Product Manager on Central Player Dynamics’ Environment & Encouragement team, you will help lead our products across the finish line, guiding the team to build systems that facilitate and encourage positive social interactions. You will ensure all of Riot’s game teams seamlessly & successfully integrate with CPD’s Conduct Reinforcement Pipeline, and you will work closely with our Insights and Player Support organizations to identify experience gaps related to CPD’s products that are driving player pain, and propose & execute measures to fill those gaps. You will guide your team’s product lifecycle from start to finish, with end-to-end responsibility and accountability for the output of your team and for alignment with the CPD roadmap. You will understand the intricate nuances of what each audience needs from our products, and bring that insight back to help build the product strategy for CPD, Player Platform, and Riot.
Responsibilities
Work with other product and design leaders to promote positive player-to-player experiences and eliminate the impact of disruptive behavior, aligned with Riot's mission to be the most player-focused company in the world.
Lead your team's product life-cycle from product ideation, strategy, roadmaps & product definition, through to implementation and release.
Identify and define opportunities to meet player and game developer needs.
Take lead on coordinating select feature and service spaces that need to be cohesive across all of platform experiences (all Riot games; desktop, mobile, web, and consoles).
Manage the team's agile process and provide focus to teams sprint goals.
Coordinate with other teams within CPD and across Riot that are delivering pieces of CPD's solution to create a seamless experience so that organizational lines are invisible to players.
Develop and implement release plans that bring together many requirements, disciplines, and departments while considering the complex global nature of Riot's business
Required Qualifications
4+ years of technical program management, technical product management, or development management experience, including roadmap and feature definition.
Experience shipping service-based solutions.
Experience working with design and technology disciplines to meet production plans.
Excellent storyteller and communicator, demonstrated experience producing inspiring visions for products.
Experience managing the technical and release side of software backlogs and roadmaps.
Experience with iterative development methodologies like Scrum & Agile, and have used supporting software (i.e.: JIRA, Favro, Trello).
Desired Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
Experience working with machine learning / AI solutions, or a strong desire to learn & develop these skills
Experience utilizing data analysis tools and methodologies, or a strong desire to learn & develop these skills
Experience in the Player Dynamics space

(Los Angeles Only) Base salary range between $150,200.00 - $211,100.00 USD + incentive compensation + equity + 401K with company match + medical, dental, vision, and life insurance + short and long-term disability + open PTO.
