The Strategic Advisory Manager for North America will help design our North America Regional business intelligence strategy, including making concrete decisions on data infrastructure, data attribution models and their use in our go-to-market plans. This role and its team directly support all departments (Publishing, Live Services, and Esports) in making data-minded decisions.

You will work with the leadership team to build strategic and financial plans, monitoring performance against targets, and driving improvements to our processes to support better decision making at every level. You will also work with Strategic Finance on forecasting and revenue analysis. You will report directly to the Country Manager for North America.

Responsibilities:

  • Connect Team strategy with Riot and Group strategy.
  • Support the strategic planning and forecasting (SPF) process for the Business Unit and monitor performance against plans.
  • Help identify and prioritize Go-To-Market choices that create competitive advantages and adapt to changing market dynamics
  • Identify opportunities within the BizDev/partnership space that can help achieve our strategic goals.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Tax and Treasury, Accounting and Purchasing functions to service team needs.
  • Develop forecasting models to help teams make the right, data-minded, decisions
  • The Business Unit’s performance against goals and Indicators.
  • The Business Unit’s P&L and forecasts compared to actuals; provide deep analysis of misses and wins, creating recommendations in the process
  • All issues relating to data, research, revenue and other
  • Ensure SA Rioters within the BU achieve high-value outcomes and meet expected quality bars
  • Lead, mentor, and support career growth for SA and Insight Rioters within the BU (Revenue Strategy, Insights)

Required Qualifications:

  • You have 3+ years of experience leading teams and guiding informed and aligned decision-making
  • You have 5+ years of professional experience analyzing large datasets, visualizing information, and informing strategy
  • You have 5+ experience in strategic financial modeling and financial planning & analysis (FP&A), and a understanding of Accounting, Tax and Treasury considerations
  • You have a working knowledge of best practices in gathering, analyzing, and using data and research to inform strategic direction
  • You can evaluate the business model of new games and challenge revenue estimates.
  • You understand the factors that promote player health and player base health and can identify opportunities for improvement. You can evaluate features and systems intended to promote acquisition, engagement, and retention of players.
