Riot Games is working towards a future as a multi-game studio. As a result, our Video Services team was born to better support our multi-games present. Being a Video Producer within Video Services means you will dive into videos for Legends of Runeterra, Project A, League of Legends and more.

As a Senior Video Producer, you will report to the Lead of IP Creative Services. You will collaborate with game developers, creative leads, artists, musicians, writers, brand managers, finance and legal representatives to promote content for use in cinematics, gameplay trailers and interactive experiences. You'll own your project life cycles including the strategy, development, team facilitation, bidding, logistics, and delivery of assets. We're looking for someone to find creative ways to influence and accomplish the vision of projects by tapping into their wide range of commercial / TV, game cinematic, or feature experience across several mediums (CG animation, gameplay, 2D, motion graphics, VFX and live action). You will not only raise the quality bar of the video content we create but also promote an on-budget production.

Responsibilities

  • Build productions, set budgets, and oversee every level of content creation
  • Maintain relationships with Riot's several Game Teams, and collaborate across multiple disciplines, from facilitating creative meetings for cg concepts to coordinating final release details with our localization teams around the world.
  • Drive on Video Services team's workflows including hands-on process and creative development; work directly with writers, visual designers, producers, sound and visual designers and visual effects artists to listen and respond to pitches and ensure that only top quality content is delivered to players.
  • Drive and contribute to creative brainstorms with creatives from varied disciplines.
  • Be comfortable pitching in as needed across multiple creative disciplines including editorial, story, and direction.
  • Evaluate Riot and competitor produced videos to push the bar for Riot Video higher
  • Develop relationships with top agencies, directors, producers and the production community at-large to keep Video Production in the know and equipped with the most advanced tools and tech
  • Provide high quality projects on time and on budget, ensuring that all partners look forward to working with you again
  • Drive and support Production improvements across the Video Discipline at Riot

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years as a Video producer (or equivalent experience) in games, film, vfx or tv
  • Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) in a related field
  • Proficiency across multiple project management work styles (AGILE, waterfall.)
  • Proficiency across Photoshop, Premier and FCP
  • Experience building and maintaining deep relationships with external clients and vendors
  • Experience managing budgets
  • Experience managing complex and/or multiple productions at the same time
  • Ability to lead a team through all phases of production

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience working at a Games Studio.
  • Experience in League of Legends, tactical shooters and TCGs
