As a Researcher at Riot Games, you will study, represent, and speak for the players around the globe. You’ll join the Insights team to work with a multitude of Rioters from across the company. Your scientific skill-set coupled with your audience insight will ensure that we are crafting our products in a player-focused way.
As a Researcher on League of Legends: Wild Rift, Around Game, you'll report into the Senior Analyst. You will work with a team of researchers and analysts, as well as directly with the teams developing and publishing the game. You will act as the voice for players across the globe, guiding the Wild Rift team on how to be the most player-focused game company in the world. You will flex your research and analysis skills to influence many different areas across the product.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with the other Wild Rift researchers and analysts to conduct primary research, using quantitative and qualitative research methodologies.
- Perform standard market research including surveys, focus groups, and interviews, and apply product testing methodologies with some craft guidance.
- Communicate insights and strategic recommendations to product teams, helping guide their ideation and iteration.
- Coordinate research and communicate findings across multiple teams, time zones, and cultures.
Required Qualification:
- BA or BS in Psychology, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related social science discipline
- 2+ years of professional or academic experience in user experience research, behavioral or cognitive research, or market research
Desired Qualification:
- Advanced degree in social sciences or a related field
- Professional experience in video games or other entertainment fields
- Fluency in Mandarin
- Familiarity with basic statistical methods for data analysis (regressions, correlations, factor analyses)
