As a QA Engineer, you will provide support to quality leads and work with numerous disciplines to promote quality ownership across the software development life cycle. It will be important for you to protect the player experience and in a high pressure, agile development environment. You will assist quality owners to perform testing for multiple features, and implementing quality improvements to the team’s development process. You may partner with and mentor remote QA teams to ensure features are delivered at a high-quality bar. Lastly, you will Find and address risks to feature delivery and product quality and keep team members informed.

Legends of Runeterra is the strategy card game set in the world of League of Legends where skill, creativity, and cleverness determine your success (for more info on Legends of Runeterra click here!). As a QA Engineer on the Legends of Runeterra team you will help Riot test and bring brand new features and content in continued support of this AAA title! You will work directly with developers to support testing activities across all disciplines. You will also ensure the development of all test coverage within your product space and manage test, telemetry, and defect data and report on product quality. You will report to the Quality Manager for the project.

Responsibilities

Support quality leads and conduct quality activities throughout the software development life cycle
Measure your team's work against quality targets based on product goals, while driving visibility on progress
Hold fellow team members accountable for managing the quality of their work
Help call out risks, impact, probability, and help plan mitigation
Communicate progress of assigned tasks as well as impediments to your team’s work
You are trusted and expected to be the Voice of the Player

Required Qualifications

2+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance
Experience working with embedded developers and content creators
Experience with Agile and SCRUM models
Experience with Test Planning, Execution, and Defect Management
Experience with Mobile Testing Methodologies and Mobile Platforms
Experience with Jira and test case management software

Desired Qualifications

Experience with CCGs or other content heavy games
Experience with Performance Testing
Experience tasking remote testers daily, and providing feedback on effectiveness.
ISTQB Foundation Level, ISTQB Agile Tester or or ISTQB Expert Level
ICAgile Test Expert (ICE-AT) or ICAgile Agile Testing (ICP-TST)
