As a Producer on the Narrative team, you will report into and work with the Gameplay Initiative Lead to manage the creation of narrative deliverables for all of League of Legends, Teamfight Tactics, and Wild Rift. You will partner with the LoL Narrative Lead, and producers from many different feature teams, to design a work intake system, manage a team process for narrative content creation, and ensure successful delivery of narrative outputs to players.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with the LoL Narrative Lead to oversee the rechartering of a narrative team and help establish team roles and responsibilities, hiring priorities, and initial strategic objectives.
- Design work systems, team metrics, and a process for setting quarterly goals. Proactively identify and load balance work between writers and editors.
- Build relationships with partner teams across LoL that narrative supports and determine a work intake system to ensure their needs are met.
- Assess the team's maturity, health, and composition. Identify staffing gaps, help fill them, and support onboarding of new team members.
- Alongside the LoL Narrative Lead, help represent the voice of narrative within League of Legends and advocate for the needs of the League of Legends game in broader Runeterra IP discussions.
- Contribute ideas to areas beyond your immediate ownership across different teams and disciplines.
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years in production role (i.e. - experience as a producer, product manager, project manager, or similar) in a dynamic industry such as software or entertainment.
- Experience setting up work systems, improving team effectiveness and health, and delivering projects.
- Experience applying Agile and/or Lean development practices.
Desired Qualifications:
- Familiarity with any League of Legends media (either League of Legends PC, Wild Rift, Legends of Runeterra, Teamfight Tactics, or the broader League IP).
- Experience working with writers, editors, or other creative content creators.
- Interest and/or experience in creative writing.
- Interest in game development.
- Experience chartering new teams and establishing roles and responsibilities.
- Prior experience operating a service team with multiple customers and diverse deliverables.
