The Role

Riot’s People team exists to help Rioters make better decisions around its talent. We bring our expertise to all of those typical HR activities such as hiring, on-boarding, training and development, diversity and inclusion, performance management, benefits, perks, compensation, big events, labor relations, off boarding so that all Rioters can flourish.

As a People Generalist (Analyst), reporting to our People Manager, you will support the Brazilian Office through a time of growth. You will be responsible to resource on all things related to our talent and facilities, working locally and with HQ to fulfill Brazil´s needs. You are the go-to resource for all things related to talent, ranging from performance management to growth & development to creating organizational design improvements. You work to develop and evolve talent programs that’ll help Rioters succeed, and you guide aligned, data-informed talent decisions by being a strategist, coach, culture promoter, talent overseer, and designer/deployer of tools and programs that turn Rioter potential into performance and results.

Responsibilities:

  • Talent Acquisition: Serve as a partner with hiring managers to develop sourcing and recruitment strategies that result in client satisfaction. Will conduct interviews and lead the process from the beginning to the end. Develop relationships within the organization and the hiring community to have influence and improve the recruiting process and hiring.
  • Culture: will coordinate our Engagement Survey (GRS) efforts (communication, engage Rioters, ensure the correct structure in the system and prepare presentations). You will implement our events calendar. Onboard new talent from all sources.
  • Learning and Development: help organize trainings. Propose new trainings. Engage Rioters. Ensure the correct use of our L&D policy.
  • Facilities: Manage our vendors to support you in everything related to office management. Ensure that our office structure is running well, from maintenance to catering. Give all the support that managers and Rioters needs to accomplish an event, training or party.
  • Benefits and Perks: manage the local benefits and perks programs.
  • Budget Management.
  • Partner with the People disciplines in Los Angeles and worldwide.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in an HR generalist/business partner or specialist role with progression
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Business, Psychology or relevant field; or equivalent work experience
  • Fluent English.
  • Excellent interpersonal, consulting, collaboration and drive orientation.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with Talent Acquisition (full-cycle recruiting)
  • Connection with gamer culture

For this role, you'll find success through craft expertise, a collaborative spirit, and choices that focus on your fellow Rioters, who are the customers of your work. Being a dedicated fan of games is not necessary for this position!
