We have a full-time opportunity for a 3D Generalist Artist to join the studio. This is a wonderful opportunity for a Junior to Mid level Artist to join a team of veterans who can mentor and help you grow. You will have the opportunity to build assets that support the gameplay of Company of Heroes 3.
As a 3D Generalist Artist, you will…
- Be responsible for integrating and processing assets and ensuring their optimal performance
- Model, texture, light, and render high/low-resolution assets for in-game use
- Participate in art reviews and respond to critical feedback in a professional manner
- Collaborate with Artists, Art Directors, and Project Managers to ensure consistent brand vision
You are a great fit if you have…
- Proficiency with 3DS Max or Maya, Photoshop and ZBrush
- Attention to detail in all aspects of UV mapping, textures, and lookdev
- Able to adapt to art guidelines set by the Art Directors, and to work in an iterative environment
- Some proficiency with organic and hard-surface modelling/lighting/FX
- A desire to learn and grow with us
It's a bonus if you have...
- Some technical proficiency and/or a willingness to learn to navigate a complex pipeline and game engine
- Skills in V-ray, Arnold and Substance designer are a plus
