Summary

The Pay and Benefits Specialist will report to the Chief, Talent and Culture and will be responsible for supporting the HR team in the management and execution of the payroll and benefits process in addition to producing the department's various KPIs.

Responsabilities

  • Manages complete payroll cycle and year-end processing;
  • Responsible for benefits administration;
  • Creates and updates employee records in the payroll and HR system;
  • Acts as the primary contact on all matters related to payroll and benefits administration;
  • Prepares and executes HR department KPIs and communicates them to the team on a monthly basis;
  • Balances monthly group insurance with invoicing;
  • Participates in the optimization of payroll and benefits process and generate new ideas to improve processes, procedures and tools;
  • Ensures the follow-up of the HR budget;
  • Participate in the analysis and annual process of salary increases and bonus payments;
  • Supports the accounting department when needed;
  • Performs all other related tasks.

Qualifications

  • DEC in accounting or a combination of education and relevant experience;
  • Minimum of three to five (3-5) years of relevant experience;
  • Significant expertise in the various fields of employee benefits and full-payroll cycle;
  • Extensive knowledge of the Nethris platform (Employeur D).
  • Blameless level of confidentiality;
  • Strong analytical skills and a strong sense of autonomy;
  • Recognized for his or her level of adaptability;
  • Ability to work with several stakeholders at the same time;
  • Mastery of the Office 365 environment, especially Excel;
  • Experience working in the video game and/or entertainment industry is an asset;
  • Strong communication skills in French and English, both oral and written.
