Job Responsibilities :

We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Engineer to be part of the Information Security team. As part of the Cyber Security Engineering function, you will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced technology leaders, multiple technology teams, DevOps Engineers and bug bounty platform vendors on the detection and remediation of security vulnerabilities.

  • Assist in the review and development of security policies, guidelines and baselines
  • Evaluate and implement cyber security tools
  • Work with bug bounty vendors in the management of reported security vulnerabilities
  • Follow up with technology teams on all remediation to ensure closure with SLA, including testing and verification
  • Participate in security incidents response and investigation
  • Execute the security awareness training programs and phishing simulation exercises
  • Conduct security incident response exercises and enhance the response and escalation procedures
  • Develop automations to further improve the efficiency of security operations
  • Perform any other tasks assigned by line manager

Pre-Requisites :

  • Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, IT, Cyber Security or related field
  • Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in the information security domain
  • Familiar with security tools such as CASB, EDR and Privileged Access Management
  • Good knowledge of AWS or Azure Cloud technologies
  • Experience with investigating threat campaign(s) techniques, lateral movements, Command and Control communications, and indicators of compromise (IOCs)
  • Possess at least CISSP or equivalent information security certifications
  • Ability to develop solutions and use tools to help discover and mitigate security vulnerabilities
  • Experience in one or more scripting languages, e.g., Python, Java
  • Good verbal/written communications skills
  • Positive mindset, open-minded and adaptable for a change fast-paced environment
  • A strong multi-tasker with a keen eye for detail

Good to have:

  • Prior IT security consulting and/or IT Infrastructure experience
  • DevSecOps (CI/CD) knowledge
