Job Responsibilities

The Community Events Specialist role is responsible for drive digital events and livestream events that drive community engagement and increase Razers overall brand awareness and visibility.

This role may be required to work evenings, weekends and odd hours to ensure execution of a successful event.

  • Coordinate with internal marketing teams globally to develop and execute digital events which include program/content planning, project, vendors and budget management.
  • Develop and reinforce Razers social media and livestreaming strategy and calendar, best practices and playbooks for the organization.
  • Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to drive strong attendance, viewership and engagement for Razers digital / livestreaming events.
  • Manage the digital events and livestreaming calendar closely with the social media team.
  • Monitor and analyze event results and optimize Razer-branded online events and livestreaming channels to drive impactful results.
  • Coordinate any internal setups to produce livestream content.
  • Scout for and review potential partnerships (influencers, speakers and sponsorship opportunities), complementary to digital events.
  • Ensure that digital events and livestreaming campaigns and results meet objectives and budget.

Pre-Requisites

  • BA/BS degree relevant discipline such as Communications, Marketing, Events Management or equivalent practical experience
  • Fluency in English is a must and (favorably) an additional second language
  • Experience in livestreaming and its accompanying software (such as OBS, XSplit) and knowledge of other relevant digital broadcasting technical stacks preferred
  • Comfortable presenting on camera and in front of live audiences
  • Understanding of social media and livestreaming best practices, online marketing, and engagement techniques
  • Have a good eye for creative content, and the ability to spot emerging social trends and identify gaming/pop-cultural references
  • Must be a gamer

Special Considerations

  • Experience in building and managing social media accounts for a brand.
  • Knowledge and experience in Product Marketing.
