Job Responsibilities

Razer is looking for a Big Data Lead who will lead a team of Data Engineer and Data Scientist. This team is responsible for the architecture, design, and development of a robust data pipeline infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, loading of data from different sources for our software platform. It also builds models to analyze data for trends and patterns beneficial to growing the companys business.

• Data curation, including extraction, transform and loading from multiple data sources.
• Undertake data exploration, building of models to address business problems.
• Devise and utilize algorithms to mine big data stores, perform data and error analysis to improve models, and clean and validate data for uniformity and accuracy.
• Analyze data for trends and patterns.
• Communicate information to stakeholders using data visualization techniques.
• Propose solutions and strategies to business challenges.
• Collaborate with engineering and product development.
• Work with external partners and experts from time to time on special projects.
  

Pre-Requisites

• Degree in Data Engineering, Data Science or related field of study.
• 5 years in managing a data pipeline, and mining and analyzing data.
• At least 2 years leading a team
• Experience in developing and deploying applications running on public cloud platforms such as AWS and Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience in applying and showing an understanding of machine learning algorithms used for classification, regression, clustering, recommendation system, etc.
