As one of our key objectives is to widen the gap between aspiration and success, we host tournaments that allow players to gain experience, make a name for themselves with our production including casting, streaming, and promoting matches, have fun, and win big. At Rarity Found, we host internationally, wherever you are in the world, we want you to have the chance and get on board. As we move forward we plan to give players the chance to get coached, trained and seek valuable advice from some of the leading players in that field. We want to better playing ability, experience and production for people entering the scene.

As the tournaments are now in a stable position, we are actively moving forward with esports agents, coaching and training and we are expanding our team in order to meet our operation criteria.

With the Esports Operations Manager role, you will be responsible for developing and working on multiple plans, strategies and practises that can grant the direction of Rarity Found to smoothly operate within the field of coaching and training with a fully functional operation, as well as working with agents, both on a daily basis.

Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Management

  • Develop and lead a team of passionate esports enthusiasts, coaches, agents, and more
  • Attract, develop, and retain top talent
  • Create and maintain a continuous training program, both for new hires and ongoing professional development, for every member of the team
  • Promote a company culture throughout the team at Rarity Found that encourages top performance and high morale.

Operations

  • Managing our various coaches, players, and influencers;
  • Assisting with talent acquisition and recruiting of new players, coaches, and influencers
  • Ensure all players, coaches, and influencers fulfil sponsorship deliverables
  • Report on a regular basis to the Director of Esports
  • Researching & Identifying emerging games and game developers

Requirements

  • Research market to identify sources of talent that is in alignment with the success of Rarity Found
  • Assisting esports department in talent recruitment and onboarding
  • Assist coaches and players with market research on other players in the market
  • Advise and develop plans/business case for new strategic talent scouting initiatives within Rarity Found
  • Maintain a close working relationship with the esports director to ensure alignment with overall Rarity Found goals and priorities
  • Leverage key findings and data to advise, develop, and execute talent recruiting
  • Reports Directly to the Esports Director
  • Other projects as determined by supervisor

  • Strong verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills; comfortable presenting to executive teams and key stakeholders.
  • Leadership skills and the ability to provide daily coaching and feedback to direct reports
  • A proven track record of aligning team members, processes, and systems to drive customer loyalty
  • A focus on outcomes with the strong ability to drive team goals to align with company goals
  • Experience implementing and using a Customer Success software tool a plus
