ROLE PURPOSE

Sea of Thieves is all about stories, whether that be the kind we create or the kind that our players create out on the seas with all the tools and freedom they have. Sea of Thieves is set within an immersive and rich world, filled with compelling characters, secrets and mysteries. With a deep history behind us and a compelling future ahead, we’re looking for a talented, creative individual who can help breathe further life into our world as not only a delightful storyteller, but as someone who understands how best to deliver compelling new stories within the shared world design of Sea of Thieves.

This role requires someone who understands our vision for the part that narrative plays in building upon and strengthening the core gameplay experienced by players. Through expanding on the game’s foundational lore and telling new stories within our world, the role will provide the chance to have a meaningful impact on the emotions of our players and how we make the most of this fantastical pirate world. Through new adventures and experiences, players will also have the chance to shape the outcome of future storytelling in a way that is unique to Sea of Thieves and our unique world.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a talented team on an established title with ambitious plans. It’s an exciting opportunity to not only tell new stories within our rich pirate world, but have an impact on how we weave this seamlessly into gameplay, while also creating narrative frameworks that allow players to shape key moments within our unfolding lore and ongoing world-building.

If you’re interested in this special opportunity, send us your CV so that we can learn more about you.
