Qualcomm Game Studios is a team who is passionate about next generation gaming technologies. A team full of game developers, artists, game engine experts and graphics enthusiast and who work on Qualcomm’s latest hardware innovations around mobile, Compute, XR and console.

The Director of gaming production is an exciting multi-functional gaming role with many unique opportunities. This person would need to be tightly integrated and co-located into the gaming software team who would focus on new game development projects around live games operations worldwide for our existing mobile games and helping scale our games and 3rd party games to other products like mobile, PC, console and AR, including helping us build out our game development pipeline . You will help drive all our in-game revenues trials, and esports live operations with top Game Studios in the US. This person would also help drive more mobile game publishers technical engagements including user engagements going forward to help us increase our scope and reach into more 3rd party game studios that work on console games.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 8+ years of professional game related development experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Mobile Game Monetization experiences is highly preferred
  • Experience with game publishers and industry developer relations
  • Technical producer experience at a Game Studio
  • Experience in game publishing in several markets for Mobile
  • Experience with gameplay programming and game design
  • Shipped at least one mobile, console, PC, or XR game
  • Experience with Game Live Operations, in-app purchases model and game user growth
  • Experience with core game development and game engines
  • Deep Knowledge of game industry and studio engagements
  • Comfortable working with large, complex projects and deliverables
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong social team fit, self-motivated
  • Preferred MS, or PhD degree in an engineering or computer science related field
