The Job

KRAFTON, Inc. is looking for an experienced Senior Social Media Manager to join its North American Communications Department. As Senior Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for leading the social media team in developing organic strategies and campaigns, analyzing content performance, and refining content based on data-driven insights in support of the company’s corporate and product communications goals.

The Senior Social Media Manager should be a creative and strategic thinker who is results-oriented and has a proven ability to develop and implement successful organic social media campaigns. In addition to possessing a passion and deep understanding of the video game industry, the ideal candidate will have experience leading a team in developing effective social media strategies and creating/executing campaigns from start to finish (i.e., identifying clear goals, developing a concept, building support for the initiative, working with a range of stakeholders to bring it to life, measuring its success, and developing learnings for future campaigns).

The role reports directly to North American Director of Communications.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement cutting-edge campaigns and approaches to social media content to support the product and corporate communications of KRAFTON and its games (e.g., PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS, PUBG: NEW STATE, etc.).
  • Directly lead, manage, and provide guidance to Social Media team members to assist in executing successful campaigns.
  • Manage the social media presence of our company and its products across various platforms including, but not limited to Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to conceptualize, build and execute campaigns that support various teams’ objectives.
  • Work with internal and external production teams to deliver creative assets developed for our social media channels.
  • Analyze and report on content performance to inform internal stakeholders and drive continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Support issues management by managing social media monitoring and delivering periodic reports when needed.
  • Continuously optimize our channels through continued learning and knowledge of “best practices” - franchise learnings, KPIs, competitive efforts, internal stakeholder input, etc.
  • Work with colleagues to develop or enhance processes to improve collaboration and enhance alignment on global projects.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of social/digital marketing experience and strong communications skills.
  • Seasoned management experience with proven experience driving results from a talented team of high-performing individual contributors.
  • Desire to develop innovative social media campaigns that tap into the latest social trends and technology across established and emerging platforms.
  • Excitement to build a strong, diverse community of individuals who are engaged in the broader gaming community and support KRAFTON’s goal of creating premiere entertainment properties like PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS, PUBG: NEW STATE and others.
  • Hands-on experience with developing and reporting on metrics and KPIs for business goals, process improvement projects, and campaign management.
  • Ability to both think strategically and execute tactically.
  • Experience developing social media programs for live service games is a plus.
  • Passion for gaming and a love for KRAFON’s game is a plus.
  • Strong understanding and experience with paid social campaigns and strategies are a big plus.
