We are looking for a talented Junior Accountant to provide support to the Americas Finance Team by managing daily accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in accounting principles and able to work comfortably with numbers and attention to detail. The goal is to contribute to the overall efficient operation of the Team and help the company be fully aware of its financial condition. This way it can make the right decisions and accomplish long term success.

Salary 65k-75k

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with day-to-day accounting/finance activities in a compliant way

  • Process accounts payable and receivable using company tools (Kissflow, Concur and SAP)

  • Assist with monthly book close and financial statement preparation

  • Process corporate credit card transactions ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies

  • Process employee expense reimbursement ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate coding and recording of expenses

  • Assist to reconcile balance sheet

  • Maintain vendor information

  • Track and reconcile company assets

  • Perform bank reconciliation and daily cash report

  • Keep track of employee fringe benefits

  • Keep track of back-office invoices and ensure timely submission

  • Help maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation

  • Challenge current processes and seek finance-related process enhancement

  • Assist with ad hoc accounting-related duties

  • Stay updated with industry regulations and accounting standards to ensure compliance

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

  • Entry-level through maximum 3 years of accounting experience

  • Knowledge of accounting and financial reporting competencies

  • A keen eye for detail

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

  • Experience with QuickBooks, SAP and Concur is a plus

  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Bilingual in English & Korean; able to communicate with HQ office located in Korea
