PTW is looking for passionate engineers who enjoy prototyping and planning, adding amazing new features to existing and beloved games, and improving existing codes. Our Software Engineers work to help build out our core development team.

What You’ll be doing?

  • Work with a proprietary game engine
  • Using your problem-solving skills to provide applicable solutions for a myriad of problems
  • Design and implement tools that will help improve the efficiency of how software is developed, tested, and released while elevating the product quality
  • Work with software engineers across multiple domains, understanding their needs to develop tooling in various areas such as automated monitoring, pre-test/pre-submission, automated failure analysis & reporting, and a multitude of other areas
  • You might also:
  • Collaborate across domain teams and QA on releases/updates and patches
  • Automation of releases to ensure the integrity of the live environment is protected and the correct components are released.

You have

  • 6+ years of professional experience in C++
  • A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or related field, or equivalent training and professional experience
  • Core systems, Optimization (CPU, Memory) expertise
  • Console development experience and Multiple shipped AAA titles
  • Multiple game engine experience
  • Exceptional debugging and creative problem-solving skills for all technical challenges
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal in English (Basic verbal French skills if in QC an asset)
  • Bonus points if you’ve had experience with:
  • C# or Python, Perforce and other SCMs
  • Audio engineering
  • Cloth/Physics engineering
  • VFX engineering
  • Mobile
