Proguides is looking for a new script-writer to work on an as of yet unannounced Proguides channel.
ProGuides is an esports learning startup that helps gamers play with pros. We partner with some of the best professional and high-ranked players across titles like League of Legends, Fortnite, Super Smash Ultimate and more to make exclusive video guides and live coaching.
We’re looking for a skilled scriptwriter to build our team of writers at ProGuides.This channel will be based around "Story" content, telling the tales of certain YouTubers, video games, and genres. Our content will be ranging from video essays on popular games to telling the stories of popular content creators and figures in the gaming world.
Responsibilities
- Create 1-2 ~2000 word scripts per week YouTube videos.
- Take gaming stories and turn them into engaging YouTube video scripts that people will want to watch in their entirety.
- Create original features and stories surrounding the overall gaming scene/its history.
- Complete various writing tasks upon request.
Desired Qualifications
- At least 1-2 years of professional writing experience.
- Demonstrated ability to research.
- Must have incredible storytelling capabilities.
- Ability to write interesting hooks and introductions.
- Ability to produce clean long-form copy.
- Comfortable working remotely.
- Impeccable time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications.
- Experience creating content for YouTube is a plus.
- Experience writing.
Compensation
- $150.00 - $200.00 USD per script depending on experience.
