The fastest-growing High School sport in America isn’t basketball or football—it’s esports—and PlayVS is the official platform for High School esports. We offer an incredible, full-stack esport platform—game integrations, team building tools, leagues, tournaments, and schedules—and our software products tie everything together into a cohesive experience.

As an Account Executive, you’ll identify new High Schools and Coaches who are excited to introduce PlayVS to their school curriculum! We’re looking for a go-getter Account Executive who will approach new High Schools, educate stakeholders on the benefits of having an Esports program, and enroll new High Schools on our platform!

Here's What You'll Get To Do:

  • Build a robust pipeline of new High Schools through regular prospecting, outreach, follow-ups, and nurturing
  • Educate High Schools on the value of PlayVS through virtual sales presentations and product demonstrations
  • Drive new revenue growth by enrolling new High Schools on the platform
  • Manage the entire sales cycle, including prospecting, pitching, and closing new schools
  • Leverage CRM to track sales activity and quota attainment
  • Contribute to team projects that develop and refine sales processes
  • Work cross-functionally with our Customer Success, Customer Experience, Product, and Engineering teams to improve customer satisfaction
  • Serve as the voice of the customer and collect feedback to drive continuous improvement across all areas of the product

Here's What We're Looking For:

  • 1+ years of inside sales experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Track record of exceeding new business sales quotas
  • Experience identifying customer needs and successfully implementing solutions
  • Ability to be flexible, adaptive, and resilient within a fast-paced startup
  • Experience navigating and thriving in an ambiguous environment

Not Required, But It’d Be Nice If You Had:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent
  • Inside sales experience with a digital, tech, or SaaS product
  • Experience managing projects with input from cross-functional teams
  • A knack for working well with a wide range of people, both internally and externally
  • Professional experience in any of the following industries: gaming, technology, or edtech
  • Passion for esports
