Software Developer Engineer in Test (SDET) Intern

Aliso Viejo, CA

Responsibilities:

As a Software Developer in Test Intern, you will work under the supervision and guidance of an experienced QA team that works on writing automation scripts for customer facing application.

  • Learn QA principles, process: creating test cases from requirements, bug life cycle, etc.
  • Learn how QA contributes in an Agile environment
  • Add UI automation to the existing code base
  • Learn and execute Jenkins jobs(CI/CD)
  • Exposure to version control systems and start using

Qualifications:

  • Master's or post-graduate (up to 1 year) student majoring in Computer Science or a related field
  • Knowledge of Selenium WebDriver
  • Exposure to UI automation for different applications
  • Exposure to writing scripts using Python or Node.js
  • Exposure to a web-front-end technology such as JavaScript, HTML and CSS
  • Exposure to Ember or React Framework
  • Interest in working as part of an agile, collaborative and cross-functional team that works on modern software design and development
  • Exposure to version control systems (preferably Git)
  • Strong communication, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Desire to build, collaborate and develop strong and positive team relationships
  • Attention to detail, organization skills, and strong work ethic
