The Legal team provides advice and counsel on a range of legal and business affairs matters to enable business teams and leaders to carry out their projects and achieve their goals. We align with our business partners in order to provide strategic and solutions-orientated advice on compliance with relevant laws and regulations on a global basis.

Responsibilities

Our intern will be exposed to a wide variety of legal work, from product counseling to marketing, advertising, IP, and trust and safety related work. They will have a chance to perform research, draft, and edit agreements, interact with a cross section of the Legal Department, and even meet our PlayStation clients. Candidates should be enthusiastic about tackling a wide range of legal issues and have excellent research, writing, and communication skills. A strong interest in one or more of the following areas is a definite plus:

  • Video games

  • Entertainment

  • IP

  • Technology

  • Advertising and marketing

  • Trust and safety

Qualifications

  • Projected to graduate in 2024

  • Completed an undergraduate degree in science or mathematics

  • Actively pursuing a JD, 1L or 2L

  • Possess a bachelor's degree and pursuing a graduate degree in law (first or second year)

  • Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership for your work

  • Strong communication skills - both verbal and written

  • Eagerness to learn from and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes - a certain level of comfort with ambiguity and eagerness to bring structure an clarity to the understanding of complex legal issues with a can-do attitude
