Pixie Meta is looking for a Community & Social Media Manager to help us prepare for and launch Zomvilles in January 2026. You’ll bridge community engagement and social storytelling, acting as the connective voice between players and the studio.

Your focus will be to:

  • Build and moderate the Zomvilles Discord, creating a fun, welcoming space for early testers and gathering feedback that directly informs the game’s development and retention design.

  • Lead our social presence across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts, crafting content that builds awareness, showcases our humor, and grows excitement leading into launch.

This is a creative and hands-on role; you’ll be the public voice of Zomvilles, shaping how the game connects with players both in Discord and across social channels. You’ll collaborate closely with the Marketing Team to turn early community feedback and social insights into growth opportunities.

Core Responsibilities

Community Management (50%)

  • Create and organize the Zomvilles Discord server with 5–6 key channels (#feedback, #bugs, #memes, #announcements, #general, #dev-diary).

  • Moderate conversations daily; keep the tone light, humorous, and brand consistent.

  • Recruit and onboard early testers from LATAM and global gaming circles.

  • Gather player feedback and report key themes weekly to the CEO.

  • Organize micro-events (meme contests, bug bounties, dev AMAs).

  • Reward active community members with custom roles, shoutouts, or in-game perks.

Social Media Management (50%)

  • Develop and execute a short-form content plan for TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts.

  • Collaborate with the designer to produce memes, gameplay edits, and dev diaries (3–4 posts/week).

  • Write captions and manage posting cadence across platforms.

  • Track post engagement and community sentiment; adjust tone and themes as needed.

  • Coordinate influencer shoutouts or UGC reposts to grow.

  • Manage store review replies in Spanish and English within 24h.

Cross-Team Collaboration

  • Work with the Growth Manager & CEO to define voice, tone, and humor style.

  • Coordinate with the designer on visuals, motion edits, and content timing.

  • Sync with the future Growth Marketer to align community activity with UA and retention tests.

Must-Have Skills

  • 2+ years' experience in community or social media management (preferably in games).

  • Strong writing and communication in Spanish and English.

  • Deep understanding of TikTok, Instagram Reels, and Meme culture.

  • Experience moderating or managing Discord servers.

  • Familiarity with player behavior and community tone in gaming spaces.

  • Self-starter and comfortable with flexible schedules and rapid iteration.

Great to Have

  • Experience with indie or mobile game communities.

  • Basic video or meme editing (CapCut, Canva, Figma).

  • Background in UGC or influencer management.

  • Understanding of ASO or lifecycle marketing basics.

  • Comfortable working with AI-assisted tools (for copy or scheduling).

Position Details

  • Start Date: November 2025

  • Hours: Full-time (split evenly between Community & Social)

  • Compensation: Competitive based on experience (full-time contract)

  • Reporting: Weekly check-ins with Growth Marketer.
