Marketing Associate
Location: Pittsburgh, PA
Status: Paid, Temporary with option to hire; Full time, 40 hrs/week
Time Frame: 3 - 6 months
The Pittsburgh Knights are the officially recognized esports team of Pittsburgh. Our mission is to carry on the tradition of Pittsburgh sports by playing with grit, intelligence, integrity, and teamwork; that is just as true for our staff as it is for our players. Since launching in December 2017, we have quickly grown to represent over 30 players in 6 different titles with staff and talent from around the world - and we’re just getting started. In December 2018 we announced our partnership with the Pittsburgh Steelers and our operations are currently being incubated in their facilities. In June 2019, Wiz Khalifa came on board as a strategic partner. As a member of our team, you will get to see first hand how a top tier gaming organization operates. Responsibilities:
- Project management
- Develop and execute campaigns
- Help plan events and projects
- Assist with sponsorship deliverables
- Write marketing copy
- Manage marketing budget
- Collect data and conduct market research
- Forecast trends
Requirements:
- Ability to work at Pittsburgh Knight’s office in Pittsburgh, PA
- Professionalism and ability to work in a face-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication are a must
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field
- Experience with data analytics
- 1-2 years minimum experience in marketing role
