To support our continued growth, we are currently looking for a Head of E-Sports.

Location: London / Malta / Remote

Job Purpose:

The role of the Head of E-sports is responsible for the group’s e-sports revenue. You will be responsible for designing and overseeing the execution of the e-sports growth strategy.

The performance of this role will be measured on the delivery of strategic milestones in the strategy and the group’s NGR growth on e-sports.

Essential Job Functions / Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for the growth and P/L of the e-sport product
  • Build out and expand the E-sports marketing function
  • Produce, deliver and execute clear business plans and marketing strategies to drive e-sports player acquisition and retention
  • Constantly review the entire P&L and come with strategies and recommendations to drive the business to a higher level of profitability
  • Strengthen the company’s brand awareness amongst the e-sports audience globally
  • Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the company and competitor’s e-sport product portfolios, provide regular insights and requirements to continuously improve the company’s e-sport offering
  • Build and maintain excellent rapport with marketing, sportsbook and product teams, act as a key stakeholder in the e-sports marketing and product roadmap creation and execution
  • Obtain customer feedback on product quality and make reviews and adjustments with internal teams
  • Build and analyse data reports to identify business trends and areas for improvement
  • Constantly monitor the competitor and supplier landscape and ecosystem to identify opportunities to improve and gain commercial advantage
  • Provide regular reports to stakeholders and the management
  • Perform and support other duties as assigned

Skills & Qualifications:

  • A track record of having delivered results in E-sports/Gaming roles
  • Deep understanding of the e-sports community and user behaviour
  • Self-Starter with plenty of initiative to innovate, develop and implement ideas into new opportunities
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to represent the organization to potential partners and clients, as well as listen and respond to stakeholders
  • Excellent commercial acumen
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented, and collaborative environment

Knowledge & Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 years of working experience within the e-sports/gaming industry
