PC Invasion is looking for an experienced copy editor capable of proofing, cleaning, and scheduling articles on its website. The duties as a copy editor include correcting grammar, errors, and syntax issues, as well as following SEO guidelines and the PC Invasion Style Guide.

Your duties will include:

• Cleaning and scheduling posts to publish quickly and effectively
• Correcting errors and fact-checking
• Clearly and briefly explaining issues, if any, to writers
• Following the PC Invasion Style Guide to maintain site consistency
• Improving SEO rankings, if needed
• Staying in communication with staff writers and management

The ideal candidate has...

• At least two years as a copy editor at an established website or company
• A strong grasp of the English language
• An understanding of writing style, flow, and coherence
• Experience with SEO and WordPress is a plus (training will be provided if needed)
• Experience in AP Style a plus

Pay based on experience.
