Currently Parallax Gaming is looking for a CREATIVE DIRECTOR with a broad base of skills and knowledge.
About Us:
Parallax Gaming started off as a small You-Tube channel with a duo of World of Warcraft content creators. Since then we have grown out of being a solo You-Tube based duo and evolved into becoming an esports organization. Although sticking to our roots and producing amazing WoW content that has averaged nearly 50k+ views a video, we have broadened our reach onto Twitter, Instagram and Discord. We've picked up two Pro League teams, competing in the Gears 5 Pro League and Paladins Pro Circuit, we've managed to substantially increase our exposure. We have also acquired a few streamers and content creators on Twitch/Youtube and Mixer that have been added to our brand. Recently our community has seen immense growth and picked up on a few sponsors. Leaving us in a position that has pushed our entire staff to go outside of our comfort zone to pick up new workloads and succeed as an Organization and a Community. Thus leading us here, to acquire more talented like-minded individuals like our current staff.
Expectations
Our current staff has run the community and organization off of pure determination and love for the esports scene and all of us are proud to call Parallax home and be apart of the Parallax Family. This is of utmost importance that our staff members are motivated to produce quality outcomes no matter the situation. Our staff is highly competitive and we all expect each other to perform our given job at the best of our abilities. Our roles are all somehow connected to each other and one person not performing will affect our entire staff and the performance of our company.
We're looking for an ambitious creative designer to assist the rest of the staff with pushing our brand. The ideal candidate thinks outside the box and has the ability to do general GFX work. The esports industry is incredibly saturated and we need someone who can help us stand out among all the rest.
Requirements
- Experience with video and graphic editing
- Experience with editing software (photoshop, premiere, after effects, etc)
- Provide examples of work upon request
- Previous Esports experience
- 18+
- Computer, phone with all available social platforms
- Weekly meetings to go over ideas, work out projects with CEO and Staff
- Discord is required, as well as a Mic (where we hold meetings)
Tasks
- Develop brand building strategy
- Create scheduled graphics or upon request
- Provides weekly, at a minimum, reports to General Manager
- Required of multiple interactions with related games, people within our community.
- BE CREATIVE! We need someone that can think outside of the box! New ideas for events to gain traction within our community and bring new faces to the brand.
