Blizzard Entertainment is looking for a Hospitality Coordinator to assist in various duties surrounding Blizzard Arena for the duration of the OWL season. Responsibilities
- Providing all VIP’s a high-level of service throughout the match and ensuring guest(s) enjoy the Blizzard Arena hospitality experience
- Awareness of all facilities at Blizzard Arena
- Escort and liaison to all VIP guest(s) in attendance at Blizzard Arena
- Must be well-versed with arena and OWL facts to engage with guest(s)
- Credential Distribution
- Catering Needs
- Setting-up all plating, utensils, glasses, etc.
- Shopping for [simple] catering once to twice per week
- Experience with [simple] catering & plating
- Hospitality Needs
- Clearing & handwashing all dishes/glasses
- Restocking crafty and maintain re-order list
- Janitorial Needs
- Two restrooms within the skybox
- Assist in Security Gate (late-adds) list
- Ticketing (late adds – direct coordination & communication with box office)
- Bag Valet
- On-site Sponsorship/Partners Execution (includes, but not limited, escorting, catering, tour liaison, luggage, credentials, etc.)
- Store Merch / Swag distribution
- Most importantly, smile!
Requirements
- Have 4+ years working in the hospitality industry or equivalent
- Ability to liaise VIP’s and guests in casual yet professional manor
- Knowledge of OWL and eSports landscape
- Ability to multi-task and be self-driven
- Work independently and have good time management skills
- Work in a team environment supporting others and asking for support when needed.
- Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with frequent priority shifts
- Excellent communications skills.
- Flexibility in work schedule to accommodate events days and times
