JOB SUMMARY

Our team is looking for an experienced Consumer Insights leader to successfully launch research and strategic projects. By joining NZXT’s Research and Insights team, you will be using qualitative and quantitative insights to influence decisions around building products, innovating, delighting customers, accelerating brand positioning, and creating go to market strategies. You will work closely with Marketing, Product, and Design. Your ability to determine consumer and product insights needs, select the appropriate research methodology, design quality research, analyze data, and manage vendors are critical to the success of this role.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan research related to Consumer Behavior, Segmentation, Brand Positioning, Customer Experience, Product Development, and Usability Testing
  • Identify and translate valuable consumer insights, product usage, and market trends to influence NZXT’s future growth
  • Analyze primary, secondary and syndicated data sources to derive insights and opportunities
  • Launch strategic research projects and surveys end-to-end
  • Manage outside vendors ensuring successful execution of research
  • Evaluate and select research tools and platforms
  • Collaborate and ascertain needs with internal stakeholders in Marketing, Product, and Design
  • Communicate and make recommendations across the business while ensuring internal alignment

EXPERIENCE

  • 5+ years Consumer Insights, Marketing Research, and/or Market Strategy experience
  • 5+ years primary & secondary research experience
  • Shown experience with setting research objectives, designing surveys, and creating sampling
  • Ability to analyze large internal or syndicated datasets

SKILLS

Basic Qualifications

  • Knowledge of both qualitative and quantitative research methods and ability to choose appropriate methodologies based on business objectives
  • Skilled at translating different data set types into compelling actionable insights
  • Expertise in selecting and managing research agencies
  • Self-starter, highly motivated, and adept in prioritization
  • Ability to successfully work with teams across the company
  • Must be an excellent communicator and strong presentation skills

Good to have but not required

  • Gaming industry knowledge or experience in consumer products preferred
  • MBA and/or Advanced degree in related field
  • Qualitative knowledge around different methodologies (e.g. community, ethnos, focus groups, IDIs, etc.)
  • Brand health or NPS/CSAT survey experience
  • Ability to lead design thinking and ideation workshops
  • Experience using data visualization tools such as Mode, Tableau, and Power BI
  • Text analytics, SQL, or Python
