ESXL, the organization behind New York Excelsior (NYXL) is looking to add a talented Creative Director to its ranks. If this is your expertise and you're excited about the prospect of building a powerhouse New York esports organization, let's talk. Here's a snapshot of this role:

What you’ll do:

  • Responsible for defining a singular brand strategy, ensuring our look, feel, tone, personality and reason for being is embodied consistently across the organization both internal facing (in employee handbook, presentation templates, office and practice facility design, etc.) and external facing (marketing/sales materials, consumer products / merchandise, social/website/app, live events/venue).
  • Developing and managing full content team (e.g., third party agencies, copywriters, social media managers, graphic designers, photographers, editors).
  • Develop content playbook and calendar across all digital channels -- Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Discord, Reddit, O&O
  • Working closely with sponsorship team to conceive of and execute creative campaigns for brand partners.
  • Work closely with our audience development, product, events, and consumer products teams to drive audience goals.
  • Work closely with events team to develop multi-channel campaigns that support the company’s local events and official games.

What You’ve Got

  • 5 to 7 years of experience in online media and digital publishing
  • Natural storyteller ability with excellent visual communication skills
  • A passion for high-quality digital content
  • Experience running a multi-channel content team
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume entrepreneurial environment
  • Able to wear multiple hats, no job being too small or too large
  • Organizational skills to match the high-volume pace
