We are looking for a senior technical leader who’s contributions can make a big difference in the area of Network and Security and who sees the big picture of Cloud Computing and are deeply technical, creative and hands-on. You will architect, design, build and deploy highly scalable cloud-based solutions for GeForce NOW keeping in mind network and security aspects. You will require a deep understanding of programming languages, distributed systems, multi-threading and most importantly cloud services. Your work will craft scalable and efficient cloud services to drive Visual Computing, Deep Learning and Artificial Intelligence.

What You’ll Be Doing

Be an engineering technical leader for GFN network and cloud security, and other high priority projects as needed
You will design, architect, and implement network security features and functionality such as network access controls, inbound and outbound traffic filtering and monitoring, and subnetting for isolation.
Research, evaluate, design, test, recommend, communicate, and implement new network security tools such as proxy servers, IDS/IPS tools, DDoS prevention tools, etc.
Work closely cross functionally with other teams and management on product direction and definition for products or features/improvements of new and existing products
Drive performance tuning and automation
Support, maintain and document software functionality
Provide project leadership and mentorship members of the team, enabling them to deliver high quality software

What We Need To See

MS in Computer Science or equivalent program from an accredited University/College
10+ years of hands-on experiences in engineering as a senior contributor and proven leader
Track record in management or technical leadership, including architecting and defining products and project roadmaps and working with senior management to provide guidance on technical issues
Strong self-initiative, passion, interpersonal skills, and adaptability to new technology
Excellent knowledge of Windows and Linux internals, ACLs, OS level security protection and common protocols, e.g. TCP, HTTPS, IPMI, DHCP etc.
Experience with cloud infrastructure and cloud-scale software
Demonstrated skills in wide variety of languages (C++, Java, Python are preferred)
Comfortable with automation and configuration management tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, Puppet/chef, Load Balancers, DNS Management, SSO Integration, Authorization Tokens
Deep understanding of cloud design in the areas of virtualization and global infrastructure, distributed systems, load balancing and security.

Ways To Stand Out From The Crowd

Knowledge of SSH, keystores, security certificates, user and password management, authentication and authorization, and session management
Demonstrate delivery of complex projects in previous roles
Track record of crafting well-designed solutions and delivering high-quality software on time
Experience with Checkmarx and other security analysis software
