We're powering GeForce Now and GeForce Experience users, game developers and publishers with data-driven solutions based on the telemetry data. We gather a lot of details related to user system data, engagement stats and user satisfaction. This lays the foundation for running various Data Analysis and Machine Learning projects using the collected data. Our roadmap includes analysis of user behavior profiling, user base segmentation and campaign targeting, planning and execution of A/B experiments, smart personalized recommendations etc.

What You Will Be Doing

Are you interested in building AI systems & services to help solve content discovery at web scale for gaming domain? We want to uncover information buried in mountains of documents, conversations, logs, photos and videos etc. and make sense out of it through classification & clustering.
We start by applying these to scenarios like Search & Recommendations, but that’s just the beginnings. Other data analysis projects involve various types of tasks, ranging from analyzing the user base segments to personalized recommendations, from search results ranking to A/B tests, productization of data science models and much more.
Your algorithms and data structures must be applicable to large datasets and cluster-based processing. You have an attitude of continuous improvement for models and algorithms until they reach target performance indicators. While working on the project, you need to prepare documentation for the proposed approaches, policies, data formats, test cases and the expected results.
Overall, this position requires engineering excellence with a data science mentality.

What We Need To See

MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Ability to write readable and maintainable code (primarily in Java/Scala/Python) with at least 6 years of industry experience.
Deep understanding of cloud concepts and hand-on experience building highly scalable & distributed cloud services.
Experience with recommendation systems, targeting systems, search and ranking or similar systems.
Experience in solving problems using Machine Learning techniques (e.g. statistics, clustering, classification, outlier analysis, etc.); in particular, a proven background in hypothesis validation is desired.
Experience in analyzing very large real-world datasets and hands-on approach in data analytics; extracting data from storage systems (e.g. Hive, Cassandra, S3), establishing ETL pipelines and applying data processing engines (e.g. Spark or MapReduce) to scale the calculations.
Experience with scripting languages (e.g. shell scripts).
Experience with Test Driven Development, CI/CD practices.
Excellent design and problem-solving skills, with a strong bias for action, quality and engineering excellence.
Stress resistance, excellent teamwork, interpersonal, presentation and reporting skills should be your strong sides. Ongoing self-education is your daily practice.

Proficiency in oral and written technical English is required.
