DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
Develop BI strategy, plans, and roadmaps that align with NOA organization objectives.
Orchestrate strategic planning with senior leadership and BI stakeholders as needed to drive prioritization initiatives.
Inform and align with executive leadership and other leadership groups across NOA on the shared BI roadmap and resourcing requirements.
Manage successful execution of the BI roadmap to desired outcomes: certified datasets and data sources, enterprise level reporting, and related services.
Oversee solution design for BI engineering activities for all components of the BI platform – including ETL, data warehouse, BI, data visualization/reporting layers.
Build trust in Business Data by establishing and managing data catalogs and documentation.
Ensure strong collaboration with global BI leadership, sharing and receiving BI best practices, learnings, pitfalls, etc. that improves all BI efforts across Nintendo.
Oversee the hiring and development of all team members ensuring that individuals are thriving and striving to reach full potential
Partners with other NOA groups to ensure proper compliance is achieved within BI governance structures (ie: IMP)
Partners with other IT organizational groups to develop, enforce, and manage certain architectural and infrastructural standards, policies, and best practices.
Drive day-to-day service delivery for BI platform, leading initiatives to improve long-term performance, system stability, scalability, resilience of services.
Oversee budget planning and management processes.
Develop BI engineering teams and product teams required to deliver on the roadmap.
SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS:
12-15 years’ leadership and/or relevant experience required
Experience leading technical engineering and product/project management roles, particularly those heavily focused on data analytics and business intelligence
Technical expertise in data and analytics, including hands-on experience as an engineer
Must demonstrate an aptitude for modern product development practices as well as strong understanding of data analysis in consumer-focused business settings.
Ideal candidates will have strong individual contributor experience within product development, either in engineering and/or product management.
Experience building self-service reporting solutions using business intelligence or data visualization software (e.g. Tableau Server)
Expertise in SQL, ETL construction, Data Warehousing solutions and database modeling in a business environment
Demonstrated experience with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methods
Strong experience in scripting languages (e.g. Python, Perl, Ruby)
Strong verbal/written communication and data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education or experience

This position is hybrid in Redmond, WA. Hybrid positions require regular onsite work following the schedule and guidelines for their division. This position is not open to fully remote status at this time.
This position includes a base salary range of $230,999 - $346,498 annually, potential for a semi-annual discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.
