SUMMARY

The Senior Consultant, Talent Management is responsible for leading the design and implement of talent programs, practices, and learning solutions which support Nintendo’s business priorities. This individual will play a lead role in the design of a Leadership Development Strategy and execute its learning roadmap. They will play a key role in designing Nintendo of America’s succession and talent planning approach.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

  • Lead the design of a Leadership Development Strategy and Framework with a comprehensive learning roadmap.
  • Design, propose, implement and sustain a leadership development learning portfolio.
  • Works closely with the overall Talent Management team and HR Business Partners to evaluate and support the needs of the business and create tools and resources that to increase leadership and individual effectiveness.
  • Execute against strategies to support learning and growth of people leaders at Nintendo.
  • Provide leadership and executive coaching
  • Leverage expertise, research and industry knowledge to build professional and leadership development content.
  • Facilitate in-house training sessions
  • Consult Business Leaders on leadership development needs by understanding the root cause of business needs and working with HRBPs to align on customized approaches that solve the underlining need.
  • Provides strategic consultation to business leaders around talent management initiatives (e.g. assessing business strategies/challenges, identifying talent implications, and suggest targeted plans/actions).
  • Drives complex programs in areas related to talent management such as learning and development and talent planning.
  • Provides on-going cyclical complex program management for an initiative(s) that includes program management, design, implementation, change management, communications, and evaluation
  • Tracks metrics and performs talent analytics to provide insights into program opportunities, and inform strategic talent planning. Translates metrics into compelling stories and business cases to influence without authority.
  • Design, facilitate, and sustain a variety of organizational-wide learning experiences (e.g., formal classroom and virtual learning, experiential tactics, mentor programs, etc.)
  • Develops communication and change management plans in support of Nintendo’s Talent Management programs
  • Develops and maintains partnerships with external vendors to design leadership development solutions that meet Nintendo's specific needs.
  • Conducts research and benchmarking in support of talent management programs and initiatives
  • Assist with and completes other Talent Management projects and duties as assigned.

SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS

  • 5 years as an experienced practitioner with demonstrated ability to add value to strategic objectives of an organization using a variety of talent management and learning & development methodologies
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Ability to create talent metrics and translate to business needs
  • Strong project management skills across projects of varying size and scope
  • Advanced level facilitation skills
  • Strong influencing skills across all levels
  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Organization Development, Industrial Psychology, Human Resources, Business Administration or an equivalent field is required.
  • A Master’s Degree or MBA is highly preferred.
