DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

  • In partnership with the Director of Partner Marketing and Retail, manages multiple marketing projects, ensuring business objectives and milestones are achieved.
  • Oversees coordination of efforts among various departments by assignment of action items and communicating project progress.
  • Collaborates with key internal and external stakeholders to manage global coordination and alignment of marketing plans and assets
  • Creates and leads timely communications to stakeholders to ensure consistent high-quality plan and execution
  • Collaborates with external partners to amplify the Nintendo brand and consumer experience through licensed Nintendo products and experiences.
  • Communicates strategies, objectives, and progress to executives and internal cross-functional teams, ensuring executional alignment across all levels of the organization
  • Coordinates with outside production partners and vendors on production, approvals and deliverables and engages with partner contacts as appropriate.
  • Manages asset approvals and related process in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • In conjunction with partner(s), ensures accurate post-launch and wrap-up reporting, and distribution of reports to all stakeholders
  • Works closely with Nintendo Company Limited (NCL) and Nintendo of Europe (NOE), and communicates with NCL and NOE contacts to understand input, marketing focus, and results from Japanese and European markets
  • Communicates with NCL, NOE and Nintendo of America (NOA) staff to align global marketing communications and activities.
  • Balances input and feedback from NOA executives, NCL management, subsidiary teams and other Nintendo internal teams as appropriate to ensure successful partner product launches and execution
  • Contributes extensively to successful product marketing plans
  • Some travel may be required (post-COVID) to support business and partner needs

SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS

  • 6-8 years related experience in project / program management
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work closely, cooperatively, and effectively with different departments and with parent company required
  • Video game and/or licensed merchandise business knowledge preferred
  • Knowledge of project management skills and techniques
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to gain cooperation among multiple departments and individuals representing various functions
  • Experience managing multiple and varied projects
  • Understanding of Japanese language helpful, but not required
  • Undergraduate degree in Business or applicable field
  • Valid passport may be required for international travel
