DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
Responsible for collecting licensee product information, sales/POS, and other data or materials and assists with industry, product, data, and market research and trends as necessary; prepares summaries to communicate findings to key stakeholders
Manages the coordination of calendars for events and some meetings; assists in event planning
Communicates (verbally and in writing) with partners to schedule business reviews, status calls, etc.
Aids in preparation of reports and presentations as needed
Coordinates with marketing and retail to support creation of sales and marketing collateral
Responsible for light licensee account management, contributing to business growth in alignment with strategic goals
Build and maintain strong relationships with licensees
Ensure licensee compliance with Nintendo’s guidelines and contractual standards
Support standardized reviews with partners to ensure all licensing requirements are met for each project
Analyze and participate in negotiation of select product categories
Timely and effective communication with licensees on relevant business needs, on- and offboarding, sales and product reports
Provides regular updates/reporting to management and internal stakeholders (as necessary) about the status of licensees and key issues
Communicates (e.g., e-mail, video conference) with regional teams during global working hours may be required on a regular basis
Supports various interdepartmental personnel
Keeps complete and thorough records of communications related to active, inactive, and completed projects
Special projects as assigned
SUMMARY OR REQUIREMENTS
1-2 years of related Licensing experience or similar.
Proficiency in PC & MS Office Suite skills required (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Experience in Adobe a plus
Knowledge of contract and royalty management systems preferred
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills necessary
Excellent organizational skills with proven ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating priorities
Ability to collaborate and build trust with partners and colleagues
Knowledge of Nintendo franchises, characters, and intellectual property/video game industry a plus
