Description Of Duties

  • Plans the merchandising strategy and all promotional programming efforts throughout the Universe of Nintendo sites and Amazon brand store
  • Provides leadership and direction creating merchandising tactics to support a wide range of campaigns.
  • Provides merchandising insights and status updates to senior leadership
  • Serves as liaison for site questions and programming with PDR, Strat Comm, XM, Retail Marketing, Mobile Team, eShop and Treehouse
  • Establishes and maintains personalization tactics across websites
  • Leads, mentors and trains content author staff who implement merchandising initiatives
  • Manages promotional content creation process; requesting and overseeing contributions from copywriters, designers, and developers, and routing content for review and approval
  • Produces and analyzes site metrics to measure customer behavior and efficacy of content
  • Leverages data to test and develop effective merchandising strategy and recommendations
  • Provides recommendations and owns creation of new site content to support marketing campaigns
  • Supports 3rd Party developers by providing strategic recommendations for merchandising placements
  • Organizes and supports content for Canadian & Latin American regions, collaborating with the individual regions to determine merchandising needs and manage site updates as needed
  • Updates and maintains merchandising content on Nintendo.com via content management system
  • Routes promotional content to internal and external stakeholders and manages revision requests
  • Provides general asset and copy coordination, support and organization
  • Performs content QA passes on all merchandising updates
  • Provides general support such as data entry, transcribing and emailing notes during team meetings

Summary Of Requirements

  • 4 years of experience in web merchandising or related field
  • Familiarity with bug tracking tools
  • Experience using data analysis and metrics reporting tools
  • Experience working within Content Management systems, experience with Adobe Experience Manager preferred
  • Strong writing and editing skills a plus
  • Understanding of Project Management methodologies
  • Strong PC skills required (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Experience with image manipulation and design software, including Adobe Photoshop
  • Knowledge of Nintendo products highly preferred
  • Experience with localization process a plus
  • Undergraduate degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience
