About the role

Reporting to the head of overseas recruiting, the Recruiting Manager will serve as the head of recruiting in North America, one of the founding members of NetEase’s North America office build a solid ground for company’s growth and prosperity for years to come. The successful candidate will have a strong track record of providing creative and strategic oversight in attracting top talents in entertainment space.

A snapshot of what you will be doing:

  • Build a long-term sourcing strategy that leverages all talent acquisition channels to maximize hiring velocity while maintaining high bar for talent
  • Partner with business stakeholders to build recruiting plans by identifying, prioritizing and fulfilling current and future talent needs for NetEase's North America offices.
  • Managing a steady talent pipeline and building future relationships with strategic hires
  • Use standardized data base to track talent acquisition results to optimize recruiting strategy.
  • Negotiate compensation and benefits with the candidate based on internal pay guidance
  • Work with business unit heads, public relations and investor relations team to create strategy, messaging and content that support recruiting and employment brand goals.
  • Engage with internal leaders and employees and empower them to create stories, videos and other aspects to showcase work location, environment, team and role impact in collaboration with the business.
  • Support a diverse and inclusive culture and workforce, and ensure compliance with laws, regulations and company policies
  • Abide by NetEase's corporate policies and processes

An ideal candidate would be:

  • Passionate about video game and/or the broader entertainment industry.
  • Proven track record in leading high performing tech/entertainment/creative talent acquisition organizations
  • 6+ years in Talent Acquisition, and experience of leading a recruiting or sourcing function is a plus
  • Solid business and financial acumen with critical problem-solving skills at scale
  • Comfortable working in a diversity team. Experience working in multinational environments is a plus.
  • Ability to advise lines of business on latest Talent Acquisition thinking and best practices
  • Knowledgeable about current market trends and competitive data
