We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Revenue Accounting Manager to join our Accounting team. This role is responsible for processing and review of sales contracts for proper revenue recognition as well as revenue reporting in accordance with US GAAP and IFRS rules. The Revenue Accounting Manager will assist in documenting and determining the Company's revenue recognition processes, financial system testing and improvement, and revenue reporting.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Oversee accounting of multiple revenue streams and the design, implementation, and execution of scalable and effective processes for a more efficient close.
  • Develop, enhance, and streamline processes and controls around revenue and related financial reporting metrics by creating efficiencies and simplifying output by leveraging technology solutions and automation.
  • Manage the revenue monthly close process, including the review of journal entries, account reconciliations and roll forwards, allocations, fluctuation analysis, and revenue recognition analytical reviews of the Company's revenue streams.
  • Design and organize the revenue processes and systems to accommodate the release of new products and the Company's expansion plans.
  • Research new revenue rules and other technical matters (GAAP and IFRS) and their application to the Company's products, and document company policy for all products.
  • Provide audit support on various projects, quarterly, and annual reviews/audits.
  • Identify and document opportunities to improve business processes and internal controls.
  • Provide other team ad hoc research, reporting, and projects as it pertains to revenue.
  • Assist the Finance team in long-term revenue budgeting and forecasting.
  • Significant role in critical finance projects, including consolidated and statuatory financial statement audits.
  • Partner closely with FP&A, Sales Commerce, Data Analytics, and Legal teams to identify key reporting needs related to revenue and Company vision.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

  • Bachelor's degree in Business with an emphasis in Accounting or equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years of professional accounting of related experience.
  • CPA License preferred
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (including pivot tables, Power BI) and excellent command with excel and manipulation of large data sets is a must.
  • General understanding of report writers and databases to analyze, create queries and reports of large data sets.
  • Prior experience with reporting programs (e.g., Tableau, etc.) is preferred.
  • Strong time management, detail-oriented with great organizational skills to meet deadlines.
  • Must have a team-oriented work ethic, strong oral, communication, and interpersonal skills, and the ability to adapt in a team environment where change is the norm and understand the bigger picture.
