Location: Central London with option to work remotely 1-2 days per week

Duration: Permanent

Reports to: Head of Partnerships

Deadline for applications: Thursday 24th June

Overview

Across everything, we take a student-first approach to ensure we always add value to the community. We elevate students’ university esports experience, helping them now and in their future careers. We use our knowledge to help academic institutions, games publishers, and sponsors support the student community.

As our existing brand partners such as Intel, Barclays, and Monster increase their involvement with us, plus more brands look to enter into esports and work with NSE, we are recruiting a Partnerships Manager to help deliver these projects and activations. In addition, our work with games publishers will be another core area of focus and project delivery.

The successful candidate will be at the heart of the UK esports scene and get the chance to work with some of the biggest brands in esports and support new entrants to the market.

Role Summary

With the success of NSE’s proposition, and the validation of brands and publisher partners, NSE is now ready to move into the next phase of our development and growth. The role will focus on both existing partners, helping deliver their bespoke programmes and activations, and on new partners - many of whom are entering esports for the first time. The successful candidate will support the Head of Partnerships in account and project management, activation delivery, and also contribute towards business development. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Partnerships Manager to work with major brands in esports.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project management and delivery of partner activations with the support of other NSE team members
  • As part of the partner activations, the successful candidate will write editorial and marketing copy to be featured on NSE.GG and across other NSE communications channels
  • Providing sales support to the Head of Partnerships on new business initiatives, including outreach and new programme creation
  • Work with other NSE team members, contractors, agencies, and other third parties regarding partnership activation and delivery programmes

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Likely 2-3+ years experience, possibly working in a sponsorship role for an agency, rights holder or brand
  • Strong account management experience, comfortable running programmes, projects, and meetings with internal and external parties
  • High attention to detail and project management skills - good at getting things done!
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • An understanding of games & esports is preferred but not required
  • Positive proactive can-do work ethic with a restless drive for improvement
  • Comfortable working with budgets, managing budgets, and realising new revenue opportunities
  • Ability to maintain strategic relationships and build a network of key stakeholders and advocates within partner organisations across all levels
  • Multitasker, the ability to simultaneously manage a variety of projects and partners
