A world leading gaming brand IT hardware group, including laptops, desktops, motherboards, graphics cards, All-in-One PCs, servers, industrial computers, PC peripherals, car infotainment products, etc. with above USD 2 billion sales revenues is looking for Country manager for its UK subsidiary.

Job Description -

  • Responsible for managing overall operations, warehouse, logistics, recruiting staff, budgets planning and profitability of the whole entity.
  • Established the sales strategy for the UK market, which in line with Group Global sales strategy.
  • Achieve and exceed the Volume and Gross Margin targets for potential and existing distributor channel for UK and EMEA – responsibility not limited to sell-in volume/value only but also be responsible for sell-out volume/value of distributors.
  • Analysed the need of Esports video gamer and the Industry trend, including set prices and margin for company product lines for UK and EMEA
  • Lead the marketing team to building a company’s brand in UK market and implement the global marketing strategy, which in line with group’s policy.
  • Coordinate and Collaborate with mainly sales/ marketing and product manager departments to define and be accountable for strategy and execution plans to maintain our client satisfaction and enhance the company’s sales and overall business.
  • Adjust the operating strategy based on the report regarding the laptop industry market trends, competition and identify the product position in market.
  • Ensuring implementation of sales and marketing initiatives – responsible for working with the marketing team for the implementation of marketing initiatives within distributor channel. This includes initiatives related to new product/brand introduction, re-launching existing product/brands, trade promotion, consumer campaign, and other specific programs

Essential criteria (education):

  • Bachelor’s degree or above, or equivalent combination of studies and experience in Computer Science, engineering, physical science, economics, business or other similar or relevant fields.

Essential criteria (skills and personal qualities):

  • 5+ year work experience in Laptop industry is a must, including a 3 year+ EMEA market experience and 2 year+ as country manager.
  • Experience in management for more than 20 employees team. Direct leading experience in sales, marketing and logistic team is a must.
  • Proven experience of working with motherboards/ graphic cards and Laptop in B2B field sales for the UK and EU market.
  • Knowledge of Esports industry and gaming laptop industry is a must, ideally familiar with both EU and Asian market.
  • Capable of working under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Extremely organised and detailed oriented.
  • Proven ability to develop sales and pricing strategies as well as guide sales teams on product and industry trends.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Fluent Mandarin and English.
  • Microsoft office knowledge & CRM skills
  • Excellent skill of making presentation to clients and shareholders.
  • Good understanding in global/ post-Brexit market dynamics would be a plus.
  • Driving license is highly preferred
